Polymorphic layout base. Each concrete species defines its own subclass holding the perturbation slot indices/sizes it needs. Layouts are owned by perturb_vector::species_layouts (parallel to all_species_, lex-key order). Per-thread isolation comes for free because each thread allocates its own pv.
